Not exactly a biography page, but I think this is more fun. Here’s a list of “me” stuff to help you get to know the woman behind the words. Yes, I know, some people are running around with lists of 100 things or more, but hey, I feel pretty damn proud at getting 50 down (though at some later date, I might feel motivated and manage to lengthen the list – but don’t hold your breath).

1. I don’t like pickled cow brains (they were served on a salad to me when I was in South America and I thought they were mushrooms at the time).

2. My favorite snack food is a Hostess HoHo (chips and salsa and then Twinkies rank two and three)

3. I can’t stand sweet tea but have to have cream and sugar dumped into my coffee.

4. I love riding a motorcycle down back country roads.

5. I drive with the windows down as often as I can because I love the feeling of having the wind whip my hair around.

6. I read waaaaaay too much (fiction).

7. I start the day with a large cup of coffee and the newspaper crossword puzzle, which I do in ink.

8. I’m not afraid to tell a person when they’re being rude.

9. I try to always remember to thank people when they do something I appreciate.

10. I love to get backed up against a wall and kissed silly (depending, of course, that I want to be kissed by that person). Probably has something to do with my first kiss.

11. I have the worst sense of direction of any one I know. Every time I take a trip I get lost at least once. I worry friends and family to death, but I've gotten some great ideas for stories from the places I've ended up and the people I've met.

12. Favorite fast food: McD's french fries

13. I make my date hold the popcorn at a scary movie. I tend to jump and scream and have showered whole rows with it when I'm holding the bucket.

14. I love crack-of-dawn fishing trips. (Once I’m awake and have had at least one cup of coffee, of course.)

15. I can't stand lima beans, liver or brussel sprouts (sorry mom).

16. Unfriendly people really annoy me.

17. I’ve broken both my arms (one when I was four, both at once when I was twelve).
